The sales process at the Pacific Gate Super Prime Luxury Condo building in downtown San Diego has begun. Last Wednesday some buyers looked at possibly purchasing a combination of two units at Pacific Gate in order to get themselves an even larger home. It seems that most decided to hold off and see what their options would be with the general sales process. Then on Thursday prior Bosa clients had their first shot at buying. Many of them did exactly that. Most of them chose bargain priced properties. However bargain priced still means well over a million dollars for the most part. Then this Saturday the sales appointments with the general public that had participated in the priority reservation process began. It appears that there is a fair amount of demand and we have heard that some sales were made early on. We did hear of one buyer that was prepared to spend over four million dollars on a condo and was super excited about the property but then ultimately passed on an offer of the ideal property because he was not convinced that Bosa is indeed offering the Super Prime building that is being advertised. Pacific Gate is architecturally interesting and should be a great building and place to live, but it is still up to the market to show us how well it is embraced and if the building measures up to the marketing hype that we are seeing.
